Miller Manyard II shock-absorbing lanyards contract 6 feet (1.8 m) to 4 feet (1.2 m), greatly reducing the chances of tripping, snagging or dragging. The specially-woven shock-absorbing inner core smoothly expands to reduce fall arrest forces and a heavy-duty tubular outer jacket serves as a wear indicator and back-up strap to the red inner core for added safety. Miller Manyard II lanyards have a working load of 310 pounds (140.6 kg) and feature a warning flag to indicate that they have arrested a fall.
